Is Chiropractic Safe for Kids? A Boca Raton Parent Guide

Parents are right to ask. Children are not small adults, and any provider who sees them should adapt the exam and keep care gentle. This guide is general information, not medical advice.
Why parents bring children in
Common reasons include backpacks, falls, sports, screen posture, birth-related concerns and headaches. Some parents also come in after a playground or bike accident.
How care is adapted
For children, we use a careful exam and very light, specific contact. There is no twisting or cracking of the neck in our upper cervical approach. We explain each step to parents.
When to see a pediatrician first
Fever, severe or sudden headache, vomiting, weakness, numbness, vision changes or symptoms after a significant head or neck injury need prompt medical care.
No promises
We do not claim to treat or cure childhood conditions. Care may help some children, and results vary.
Is it painful for kids? Our method is light and low-force.
