Upper Cervical Care for Fort Lauderdale and Broward Patients
If you live or work in Fort Lauderdale, Las Olas, Wilton Manors, Oakland Park, Pompano Beach, Plantation, Davie, Hollywood or anywhere else in Broward County, Specific Chiropractic is a short drive north. Dr. Hasson focuses on the top two bones of the neck, the atlas (C1) and axis (C2), using a careful exam and imaging to guide every decision. He uses a gentle, ultra specific, low-force adjustment.
How Far Is the Drive?
Our office at 1 W Camino Real, Suite 111, Boca Raton is roughly 25 miles from downtown Fort Lauderdale. Most patients from Broward need about 30 to 45 minutes via I-95, the Florida Turnpike or US-1, depending on traffic and where in the county they start. Our hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8 AM to 7 PM, and Friday 8 AM to 2 PM, which helps you avoid the worst of rush hour.
What Is Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care?
The atlas and axis sit just below the skull, surround the area where the brainstem passes into the spinal canal, and allow most of the nodding and turning of your head. Small shifts here can change how the rest of the spine carries load. Our approach is ultra specific: we measure the position of these bones and, if a correction is appropriate, use a gentle, precise, low-force adjustment. Your response is then re-checked so each step is based on findings.
Conditions We Commonly See
Patients from Fort Lauderdale and Broward come to us for neck pain, headaches and migraines, vertigo and dizziness, whiplash and car accident injuries, jaw (TMJ) pain, post-concussion symptoms, low back and hip imbalance, and sports injuries. We do not promise specific results or cures. The goal of the exam is to find out whether an upper cervical misalignment is part of your picture.
Car Accident and Sports Injuries
We take car insurance for accident-related care, and athletes of every level are welcome. Collisions on I-95, I-595, US-1 and the Turnpike are common, and Florida has strict time limits for starting care after a crash, so call or text as soon as you can.
What to Expect at Your First Visit
The first visit starts with a conversation about your history, symptoms and goals. Next comes a physical and neurological exam and, when appropriate, upper cervical imaging. Dr. Hasson then explains what he found, whether care is recommended, what it involves and what it costs. If a correction is indicated it is gentle and takes only a few minutes. Bring any recent imaging or reports with you.
